About CCLA
A network of leaders working together to strengthen and sustain coastal communities.
Our Mission
To empower coastal leaders through collaboration, advocacy, and education to build resilient and thriving communities.
Our Vision
A future where coastal communities are connected, sustainable, and equipped to meet challenges with innovation and strength.
How CCLA Began
CCLA was founded on the belief that the strongest communities are built by connected and empowered leaders.
As coastal regions faced growing environmental, economic, and social challenges, it became clear that no single organization could address them alone. CCLA was created to bring people together—to share ideas, build partnerships, and take collective action.
What began as a small group of committed leaders has grown into a dynamic network working across regions to support and strengthen coastal communities.
